The Massachusetts Oyster Project dumped 50,000 oysters into Boston Harbor today. If their population remains stable, they’ll help clean a tremendous amount of water - and (among other benefits) potentially lower the number of beach closings in coming years. The above video shows oysters cleaning the water in Chesapeake Bay. Via Universal Hub.
