My latest column at Mediaite, on Apple failing to deliver on Day One.
So, Sports Illustrated can’t make their (non-existent, concept) interactive magazine because the iPad doesn’t support Flash? Am I missing something, or aren’t things like Cappuccino, AJAX, or (heaven forbid) Cocoa Touch pretty good substitutes?
Update: According to David Link - co-founder of The Wonderfactory, the group that produced the illustrated SI concept video - the prototype interface was developed for an assumed tablet-adapted version of Cocoa Touch. They also envision versions for Windows 7 and browser-based tablets.
